Episode 100: Stand-up Comedian Aaron Leidecker on self-publishing children’s books
On our 100th episode of Literary Prospects, we sit down with Comedian Aaron Leidecker to discuss his new children’s book, BOWIE’S BACKYARD.
Aaron is a stand-up comedian from Rhode Island who has featured for national acts such as TikTok comedy sensation Heather Shaw, Tony V (featured on Late Night with Conan O’Brien & Seinfeld), and Maddy Smith (MTV’s “Wild N Out”). He has performed at notable venues such as Comix Roadhouse (Mohegan Sun Casino), Comic Strip Live (NYC), and Broadway Comedy Club (NYC). He regularly hosts & performs at Comedy Connection in Rhode Island, as well as the Rhode Island fundraising organization “Funny 4 Funds.”Aaron has an MFA in Writing from VT College of Fine Arts, he enjoys writing and acting for RI’s annual “48 Hour Film Project” competition, and he recently published his first children’s book, BOWIE’S BACKYARD, which was inspired by his beloved blind dog, Bowie.
