Anna is a Texas-based author whose body of work quietly yet consistently asks the question: How do we find our way in the world? In her 25-year career she has worked as an advertising copywriter and creative director, deputy editor of Magnolia Journal, and is a bestselling ghostwriter. Her new book, They Will Tell You the World Is Yours, is out now. Anna writes a monthly column in Wacoan, where she moonlights as a scrappy and spirited advice-giver named “Boots,” and a weekly Substack called Little Rebellions. She and her husband and kids live in Waco, Texas.
