Danilyn is President of the Wenner-Gren Foundation for Anthropological Research. An award-winning anthropologist, she has taught at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and the University of Chicago, and has authored several books. Her latest book, Beautiful Mystery: Living in a Wordless World, an academic memoir about life with her multiply disabled daughter, Millie, is out now. Danilyn lives in Santa Cruz, California.
